Wishing all my Lacrosse Goalies, Parents and Coaches a Very Happy New Year

I just wanted to send everyone in the LacrosseGoalieTips universe a very Happy New Year.  Let’s make this the best lacrosse year for you, your team, and your goalies.  And don’t forget, I’m here to help you. Last night my wife and I went to see We Bought a Zoo at the movie theaters.  It’s a great movie and I highly recommend it. Watch the Trailer to We Bought a Zoo. There were two quotes that stood out to me that I just wanted to share: 1)   “If you just give it 20 seconds of courage amazing things will happen.” Don’t be afraid to give yourself twenty seconds of courage.  Don’t think.  Just do.  A long time ago when I was in fifth grade I gave trying goalie twenty seconds of courage and it took me to places and a chance to meet some great people that wouldn’t have happened had I not done it. 2)  “Life is just one big adventure.” Enjoy this fabulous game.  Don’t over think it. If you’re a goalie, don’t get caught up on every ball that goes by you because there are going to be a lot. Enjoy the game and the progress you make daily.  If you’re a coach, enjoy your kids.  I know there are a ton of them that will frustrate the living daylights out of you but just smile.  Laugh it off.  And grow as a coach.  Your players and parents will thank you for it.  And if you’re a parent whose little one decided to stress the heck out of you by jumping in the cage, enjoy...
